Starting at Noroff is the culmination of an initial curiosity in how the world is changing around us thanks to software, to quote Marc Andreessen, “software is eating the world”.
The more I read, the deeper I dug, the more I was fascinated. But I want to be more than a generalist, more than a hobbyist. I want to be involved directly, to be a maker, a builder, a strategist – who knows?
A deeper exploration in my favourite areas of NLP and machine learning will perhaps come to define precisely the career I seek. The journey to graduation is long though, who knows how plans could change? 🙂

“But I want to be more than a generalist”
^ This. I feel like I know a little about a lot, but I think it’s high time I focused in on something.
Also, another reason why you can’t be a good generalist unless you also specialise in something: https://www.facebook.com/timoisabox/posts/912226315576818.
